Mt. Hood Rock Club
Volunteer-hosted member lapidary sessions with beginner guidance, trim saws, cabbing stations and flat laps.
The shop is a hobby learning center and does not support commercial production. Published shop fee is $10 per session, with slab-cutting fees separate. Check the calendar and reserve before traveling.

- Reserve with the shop host through the calendar. Shop use is members only; nonmembers can request cutting services. Slab saws are operated by hosts.
- Prerequisites
- Join in person at a club meeting before using the shop. Hosts introduce beginners to equipment; adult members must volunteer at least annually.
- Equipment & materials
- Three host-operated oil slab saws, two trim saws, a dopping station, two grinding/sanding arbors, polishing wheels and 8-inch and 16-inch flat laps.
