Transparent by design
How Lapidary Finder builds a useful comparison.
We organize machines around the work a lapidary wants to do, keep missing specifications visible, and send readers to the manufacturer to confirm the final purchase.
No paid ranking
The guided finder filters by task, machine budget, workspace, and selectable speed. Results are ordered by machine price, not by payment or commission.
Price is not setup cost
A machine may still need abrasives, blades, laps, dops, coolant hardware, freight, or workshop changes. Our setup-cost guide keeps those layers separate.
Commercial disclosure
Lapidary Finder does not currently use affiliate links. If that changes, qualifying links and the relationship will be clearly disclosed without changing how results are ranked.
Aggregate-only measurement
We count page views, finder choices, comparison actions, and official-source clicks to improve the directory. We do not store names, accounts, typed searches, session identifiers, IP profiles, advertising identifiers, or full referring URLs.
